253: Venom of a Toad RE-DO!

Ignacio Jordà González is better known under his screen name in the adult entertainment industry as Nacho Vidal. Vidal has led many people though a spiritual walk to their souls with the help of the dehydrated scales of the Colorado river toad (also known as other names). There is a venom on the scales that is known to have hallucinogenic properties and can be deadly. It was during a ritual that Nacho is alleged to have been the leader of, when Jose Abad tragically died due to adverse reactions from the venom. The 11 month investigation into the fashion photographers death leads them to the home of Nacho Vidal and this was not his first encounters with the law either.

252: The Murder of Timothy Ferguson

This case comes with a trigger alert to child abuse. Timothy Ferguson moved in with his biological mother Shanda Vander Ark in North Shores Michigan in 2021 after not being in her care since 2012. In the summer of 2022 Timothy was found dead of malnourishment and hypothermia in the basement of his home- Shanda and her adult son Paul Ferguson had to explain to investigators, the community, a panel of jurors and themselves how exactly they could not see the danger Timothy was in weighing only 69 pounds at the time of his death.

Sarah has been convicted for the murders of her roommates along with her then boyfriend Richard Hull. Although she has always admitted her guilt to not reporting the murders after the fact, she maintains that her conviction of murder is wrong and she deserves a fair trial.
