137: The Murder of Susan Watkins

When Susan Watkins husband left her alone in Chicago in 1891 for another woman, we would assume that’s probably the end of that. Well, not for Susan. She was not one to stand by and let another woman take her man. Take a listen to hear one courageous woman’s fight that took her across state lines in a time when travel wasn’t as convenient as it is today, and finding someone is done only by asking around and giving descriptions. The outcome is tragic but her resolve is one for the books.
